We’re proud to announce that Bloomerang has formed a strategic partnership with Aplos, a leading online fund accounting software company, to bring a fully integrated solution to the nonprofit sector. This unified solution is designed to bring true fund accounting and a donor database based upon proven best practices together to fulfill a huge need in the market.
The integration between Aplos and Bloomerang will securely share real-time data, allowing customers to track their donors and financials seamlessly. Donations entered in Bloomerang will automatically be recorded in the bookkeeping in Aplos, ensuring nonprofits have more accurate bookkeeping, reduce duplicate data entry, and improve the accuracy of reports to reflect real-time donations.

Both firms serve small-to-medium-sized nonprofits with cloud-based software. Aplos, one of the leading providers of online fund accounting software, served over 14,000 organizations last year. Nonprofits have unique accounting needs, including tracking designated funds and donations. When nonprofits use small business accounting software, such as QuickBooks, the accounting can get complicated fast with work-arounds and manual spreadsheets to track the nonprofit data needed. That is why Aplos designed an accounting software specific for these unique needs, so it is simpler to correctly manage their finances and prepare the reports they need to demonstrate funds are used correctly.
