Personalized Donor Communication: Using Custom Fields To Make This Simple as Pie

In human services, individualized educational, health, and employment programs are the standard. However, in fundraising, we often rely on template emails, standardized annual appeals, and general stewardship activities to cultivate and retain individual donors. (How often have you sent the same thank you letter?) In this webinar, we learn how to use Bloomerang to align with your individual donor cultivation and retention plans. In doing this, we increase individual donor engagement, reduce (yes, I said reduce) our workload, and create more joy for you and your donor.

Learning Objectives:

• How to use custom fields to track donor knowledge. Then, develop reports to disaggregate this data.

• How to use tasks as an “administrative assistant,” thus reducing workload instead of increasing it.

• The importance of individualized individual donor communication.
