Claire Axelrad, J.D., CFRE Joins the Bloomerang Team as Fundraising Coach
INDIANAPOLIS, Jan.8, 2019 — We are pleased to announce the addition of a leading nonprofit consultant to the Bloomerang team!
Claire Axelrad, J.D., CFRE has joined Bloomerang as Fundraising Coach, bringing over 30 years of development expertise to the Bloomerang community.
As our official Fundraising Coach, Claire will be providing regular advice and guidance exclusively to the Bloomerang blog and webinar series.
Claire‘s practical approach, which earned her the AFP “Outstanding Fundraising Professional of the Year” award, has helped her raise millions of dollars in support. As a frontline leader, she oversaw staffs of 20+ professionals for such organizations as San Francisco Food Bank, Jewish Community Center, Jewish Family and Children’s Services, San Francisco Conservatory of Music and California School of Professional Psychology
Claire teaches the CFRE course that certifies professional fundraisers, and contributes to NonProfit PRO and Guidestar. She is a member of the California State Bar, alumna of The Fundraising School, Conrad Teitell Intensive Planned Giving Program and Lilly Family School of Philanthropy Executive Leadership Institute, and a graduate with honors from Princeton University.
Her passion is coaching nonprofits to address 21st century challenges and overcome barriers to sustainable funding.
She joins Adrian Sargeant, Tom Ahern, Kivi Leroux Miller, Jamie Levy, and Terry Axelrod as part of our product advisory and industry thought-leader team.
