Meet James Goalder – Senior Account Executive at Bloomerang
James has been working with nonprofits and churches for most of his 17 year career. His experience ranges from managing teams to solution-driven selling. James is currently an Account Executive at Bloomerang. With Bloomerang, he is helping to revolutionize how databases are used in the charity world and bringing focus on donor retention.
Prior to Bloomerang, James had spent nine years at Lifetouch, where he worked in the Church Division, showing churches how to retain more members, increase visitors and grow volunteers. As a Territory Sales Manager, he worked with churches of all sizes and shapes, showing them how to best work with their existing membership while also continuing to fish for new members.
James serves on the Board of Directors of Project GROWS in Verona, Virginia, serves as a Sunday School teacher at his church and enjoys living in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in the Western part of Virginia. The myriad hiking trails, world class wineries and breathtaking scenery are what makes him call the Valley home.
With four kids, James and Emily are always busy; however, reading is a frequent hobby – favorite books include The Nightingale, Red Rising and Gone Baby Gone. Favorite TV shows are Veep and Friday Night Lights.
James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Art History from James Madison University.
