Meet Gabe Harkov – VP of Sales at Bloomerang
Gabe has been fortunate to have a career with diverse nonprofit experiences. Currently, he works for Bloomerang, assisting organizations in finding the best way to transition from legacy donor databases to Bloomerang. In the past, he has worked with a start-up opera company in New Jersey, a 40 year old opera company undergoing significant changes in Arizona and a world class music education program with the Indianapolis Children’s Choir. Outside of the nonprofit arts world, Gabe worked at the Indiana Youth Institute helping to deliver professional development to youth workers in Indiana. He feels fortunate to be able to be part of the team assembled at Bloomerang.
At all these organizations, Gabe constantly searched for ways to innovate. He helped create and design processes that enable the companies to run smoother and more efficiently. Gabe’s efforts were often focused on technological, logistical, procedural, and customer facing issues challenging the
Gabe completed his Masters in Business Administration from Butler University in August of 2016. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music History/Theory from Oberlin College and also holds a Masters of Arts in Musicology from Indiana University, Jacob’s School of Music.
Gabe’s two children like to keep him quite busy, but when he has a free moment you can find him cycling the roads in and around Indianapolis. He’s also a foodie, always keeping an eye on the new restaurants opening near him.
