Meet Chelsea Coorts – UI Designer at Bloomerang
Before joining Bloomerang, Chelsea was the Director of Marketing for Andrew D. Keithley Make It Count Memorial Scholarship, and still wears many hats there by serving on the board. She was also a Product Designer for Venminder, a Web Designer/Front-End Developer for Current360, a Design Consultant for White Clay, and a Tour Guide for the Kentucky Derby Museum where she met her wife, Amanda.
Nonprofits are near and dear to Chelsea’s heart, and in addition to her work and board experience she’s spent time volunteering with several Louisville nonprofits. She volunteered shooting and editing videos for the Louisville Zoo, designing and printing sponsorship wrap-ups for an annual fundraiser with the Actors Theatre of Louisville, and promoting the rehabilitation of Story Avenue Park for the Louisville Metro Government.
Now as a UI Designer at Bloomerang, Chelsea’s goal is to provide the best interface and experience for users of the Bloomerang software. She does this by understanding the issues affecting nonprofits and learning more about the individuals who dedicate their lives to the sector. Chelsea utilizes this information when designing solutions that meets the needs of Bloomerang’s customers.
In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys rollerblading, spending time with her family, and tinkering with Legos, which never get old. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communication from the University of Louisville.
