Adrian Sargeant is Professor of Fundraising and Director of the Centre for Sustainable Philanthropy at Plymouth University in the United Kingdom. He is also Adjunct Professor of Fundraising at Indiana University where he was formerly the first Hartsook Chair in fundraising. He also holds visiting positions at Avila University in Kansas City and the Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies in Brisbane, Australia.His work on donor retention and loyalty has been funded by the Economics and Social Research Council, the Aspen Foundation, Indiana University, the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Institute of Fundraising.Topic: Brand new research into gift acknowledgement best practices

Claire Axelrad, J.D., CFRE is a fundraising visionary with 30 years of frontline development work helping organizations raise millions in support. Her award-winning blog showcases her practical approach, which earned her the AFP “Outstanding Fundraising Professional of the Year” award. Claire teaches the CFRE course that certifies professional fundraisers, is a presenter for 4GOOD Nonprofit Webinars, a regular contributor on nonprofit social media to Maximize Social Business and on fundraising to NonProfit PRO. Kivi Leroux Miller is the founder of Nonprofit Marketing Guide.com and the award-winning author of two books, “The Nonprofit Marketing Guide: High-Impact, Low-Cost Ways to Build Support for Your Good Cause” and “Content Marketing for Nonprofits: A Communications Map for Engaging Your Community, Becoming a Favorite Cause, and Raising More Money.” She is also a certified executive coach. Thousands of nonprofits in all 50 U.S. states, across Canada, and in more than 30 countries have participated in Kivi’s trainings.

After a twenty-five-year career in higher education, Kent Stroman launched Stroman & Associates, consulting in fundraising, board governance, strategic planning and leadership development. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), BoardSource-trained governance consultant, Sarkeys Foundation-approved retreat facilitator, and serves as an adjunct consultant for the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. Ross Hendrickson is a Co-Founder and CEO at Bloomerang. He graduated with a B.S. in Economics & Engineering Science from Vanderbilt University. Ross spent five years with eTapestry and later Blackbaud as an Account Executive and Business Analyst. Later, he served as Product Manager for Bostech Corporation and Avectra.

Session – Bloomerang Roadmap – Ross will give an overview of recent changes to Bloomerang and look ahead to 2018’s planned innovations.
