Bloomerang’s New Reporting Capabilities
Last month we launched several new reporting capabilities to help you better understand volunteer impact, support grant submissions, and inspire existing and potential volunteers. These capabilities show:
Key Metrics in Volunteer Contribution Analysis
The number of interactions based on how often volunteers showed up for work—a volunteer who helps over a period of time is more valuable than the volunteer who engages a single time. You’ll see each volunteer’s average contribution time across the organization, by opportunity, or within an opportunity.
Analyzing Volunteer Engagement and Activity Status
Who’s active or inactive, and trends for each volunteer. Set your own rules, for example, for those who haven’t worked within a specific time frame, and you’ll automatically see a picture of volunteer activity customized to your needs. Specifically, you can see:
- Lapsed volunteers who have lapsed.
- Retained, active volunteers.
- Reinstated, active volunteers you’ve brought back and who became active.
- Disengaged, inactive volunteers who are disengaged and have stayed inactive.
Calculating Economic Value of Volunteer Contributions
Amount of money you saved based on the time volunteers contributed to your organization. For reference, The value of volunteer time has risen to $31.80 an hour, a 6.2% increase from 2021 to 2022. You can set the amount to best serve your needs.
- A visual time-giving summary for each volunteer
- Frequency of volunteer contributions and the value of time
- Average volunteer contribution time
- First and last contribution dates
- Total contributions across the organization, or a drilldown by each opportunity
Comprehensive Insights into Volunteer Engagement and Performance
A complete overview of volunteer activity, including recruitment trends, engagement trends, and more.
Now you can run reports to measure:
- Total volunteer hours across the organization to get a high-level view of volunteer impact.
- Engagement levels based on average contribution time over a specific time period, which then help to plan for future opportunities.
- Engagement trends based on the number of contributions made over a specific time.
- The number of first-time volunteers over specified time periods.
- Changes in status based on a timeline of a volunteer’s active status and any changes in status.
- Retention and turnover based on volunteer activity.
And there’s much more! You now have 60 new reports to help you measure volunteer impact.
Look for more new features throughout 2024!
