Major gifts are the gifts worth your time and money to solicit. No more, no less. And every organization can pursue them. You might not have lots of major gift staff like a university does, but it shouldn’t stop you from pursuing large gifts to fuel your mission. Even if your organization in total only has 2 hours a week to devote to the cultivation and solicitation of individual donors, you can have a strong program that brings in important dollars.
