[NEW FEATURE] Bloomerang Features Portal

Bloomerang now has a dedicated features portal, which you can access through the “Features Portal” link in the Help dropdown! This link takes you to our new Bloomerang Features Portal where you can submit feedback directly to our Product team and see the progress of the development of new features!

How do I submit feedback?

If the feedback you’d like to share aligns with one of the existing features shown in the Portal, click on that feature, choose an importance level, describe why you need it (the more detail the better!), then click Submit.

If you want to share feedback about something that isn’t currently displayed in the Features Portal, click the plus button on the lower left and follow the same steps.

When you submit feedback you will receive an email in your inbox with a button to click to verify that you’re a real person. We suggest using the email associated with your user account so it’s easier for the Product team to follow up with you, if necessary.

Why the change?

This new system allows you to submit feature requests along with a weight of the importance, which helps us better understand your needs as a fundraiser. The Features Portal also allows Bloomerang to seek feedback on specific features or areas of the system, while also reducing the extra noise of the previous forum. This all results in a more streamlined experience– you no longer have to comb through more than 500 suggestion threads and comments. Just submit your feedback, and Bloomerang’s Product team will do the legwork of tracking it! Bloomerang will periodically change the features that are displayed in the Seeking Feedback section of the Portal in order to solicit input from users, so be sure to check the Portal often.

Any feedback you submitted in our previous customer suggestion forum has not been lost! Our new system allows us to track all the suggestions you previously submitted and use that data more strategically in prioritizing the most needed features.

When larger features are released, you will still see a notification/alert when logging into Bloomerang. Bloomerang’s changelog (accessible through the Portal), and the Planned and Launched tabs in the Portal can help you keep up with everything that’s going on! Also, please remember that our developers are hard at work building all sorts of innovative and exciting new features in addition to what you may see in the Portal.
