Restoring Justice

Restoring Justice’s mission is to end mass incarceration one client and heart at a time. Restoring Justice takes cases of those who are unsatisfied with their legal representation and/or are represented by appointed counsel who exceed recommended caseload guidelines and offer them holistic representation, free-of-charge.

Challenge

Restoring Justice was looking for an affordable and innovative donor database as their first system to accurately track donor data.

“When I came on staff at Restoring Justice, we did not have a donor database and had a huge need to track all the necessary information to grow our donor list. Because we were new and small, we wanted both an innovative database but also economical to our low budget,” said Giovanni Arias, Executive Director at Restoring Justice.

Since implementing Bloomerang, Restoring Justice has alleviated several fundraising pain points around accurate donation and campaign tracking, but most importantly around the donation checkout process on their website. Bloomerang has also fit nicely into their donor retention and gift development processes, and has given them insights to help them plan ahead.

Not only have they seen an increase in productivity and efficiency, but Giovanni and the team at Restoring Justice have also seen an increase in dollars raised since making the switch.
