Meals on Wheels was introduced into Hamilton County, Indiana in April of 1975 as a result of a growing need identified by their founder Mary Bray and Reverend David Garrigus of Christ United Methodist Church in Westfield. It started as a community service project delivering one meal to one client, and quickly grew into more than 180 clients being served daily on 17 different routes.
Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County had become very unhappy with their previous donor database. They struggled to track donors, grants, events and volunteers – as well as generate meaningful reports. Manual entry was common, eating up valuable staff time.
Since converting from eTapestry in late 2014, they are now able to better track all aspects of their fundraising.
