Boys & Girls Clubs of America + Bloomerang Donor Management Software
Bloomerang understands the unique fundraising challenges of Boys & Girls Clubs. There’s no reason for technology to get in the way of helping youth find their own recreation and companionship. That’s why numerous Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide have chosen Bloomerang’s donor database solution.
Below are just a few thoughts and success stories from organizations just like yours.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Lodi/Hackensack provides their K-8 student members with a sense of belonging, a sense of usefulness, a sense of influence and a sense of competence through after school care and other youth programs in and around Lodi, New Jersey.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Lodi/Hackensack’s previous donor database was out-dated and had very limited functions. They were utilizing multiple systems to cover all their fundraising functions, which was a time-consuming headache.
Since implementing Bloomerang in 2013, Boys & Girls Clubs of Lodi/Hackensack has been able to consolidate their donor management, email and direct mail distribution, grant tracking and special events into one system. They also manage online giving and email sign-ups through Bloomerang.
Joseph Licata, MPA. Director of Development & Special Projects, especially loves the custom fields. “The fact that you can create almost any form of tracking and transactions is essential. Most essential is the special events and grants.”
Now, their development office is more efficient and better informed.
“The system does everything. It has increased our ability to track donors, increase accuracy, and keep in touch. Productivity is the key improvement. It allows us to more efficiently manage tasks. Bloomerang is what you of make it. If you have a vision for what you need done, Bloomerang can do it. Your customer service team is great!”
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis has been operating for over 120 years as a safe place to learn, grow and play. They now serve over 8,000 youth in some of the most challenged neighborhoods in Indy.
Michelle Foley, Donor Communications Manager, described BGCI’s previous donor database as “clunky and complicated.” She struggled to effectively communicate to her donors, and because the user-experience of their previous software was poor, it was difficult for her to jump right in and start using the system as a new employee.
Since implementing Bloomerang in 2013, Michelle now has total mastery over her donor communications. They now use Bloomerang for the over-all process of communicating with their donors, including email newsletters and email solicitations.
“I personally am a huge fan of the email and e-newsletter creations that are integrated within Bloomerang. The process is easy-peasy!”
The ease-of-use and the “flow of the software” has been a game-changer for BGCI.
“Customer service is fantastic! My favorite feature is being able to chat with customer service as I’m working on something in Bloomerang.’
