About the presenter:

Andrea Beaulieu

Andrea Beaulieu has been telling stories for as long as she can remember. As a child, she clipped out the cartoon strips from the newspaper funny pages and passed them through her own homemade shoebox movie screen, entertaining her family by adding her own commentary as she went.

During the hot summer nights in Tempe, Arizona, she’d gather her friends together and act out stories of aliens landing in their neighborhood, scaring and delighting them!

Now she does that storytelling as speaker, trainer, writer and author, and performer. As a professional speaker, Andrea has spoken to thousands of audience members. As a singer and actress, she’s performed for millions live and broadcast, and traveled with the international organization, Up With People, singing and dancing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show and the Indianapolis 500.

Principal of Andrea Beaulieu Creates, LLC since 1987, she’s also worked in management positions in the small business, association and corporate arenas, and has been an E.D. for two nonprofits.

The result of all of this – today she helps individuals and organizations excel at telling their stories as a speaking, story performance and presentation skills coach and trainer, and strategic brand messaging consultant, while continuing to ham it up on stage as singer/songwriter and performer. Andrea is a Partner with Social Venture Partners, Arizona, a member of Toastmasters International, a member of the Arizona Grantmakers Forum, and sits on the Steering Committee for Gabriel’s Angels in Phoenix.

Andrea Beaulieu will share how you can make your story matter to your audience no matter how much, or how little time you have so they walk away knowing why they support you and why they want to continue to do so.

Session objectives:

  • Learn the questions they need to consider to create a moment of deep meaning with their audience.
  • Learn the purpose and three absolute essentials for their open and close.
  • Gain the tools to craft and deliver their mini-story through personalization, creative expression and emotional engagement techniques.

Time will be given for a lively Q&A session.
