Sponsorship dollars are critical to a fundraising event’s success. Sponsorships can make the difference between an event being unprofitable and profitable. They can also be a key way to drive event participation. A highly successful sponsorship campaign is not a one-person endeavor. It requires leadership and coordination of a network of people–board members and others. The solicitation process needs to be managed so that multiple volunteers are not approaching the same prospect and those that solicit need to be properly trained, equipped, and empowered.
So how does a good development professional coordinate the campaign? This webinar will share strategies, lessons learned, and tools for raising your sponsorship dollars to new heights.
- How to create and package a valuable sponsorship proposition
- How to identify potential sponsorship prospects
- How to build a sponsorship-seeking team
- How to train, equip, and coordinate volunteers and non-development personnel to solicit sponsorships
- Tips for tracking and fulfillment of sponsorship agreements
Time will be given for a lively Q&A session.
This presentation will be recorded for future viewing.
