It may be sharing their volunteer experience tutoring that special child or it could be displeasure with the type of food they received at the gala, but when constituents tell you how they feel on Twitter, one thing is clear – they care.
Enter Twitter Integration
That’s why we’ve integrated your organization’s Twitter account with Bloomerang’s unique Donor Engagement Score. When one of your constituents Tweets at your organization (or uses a hashtag you are monitoring), their Engagement Score increases.
Yes, you heard me: Bloomerang now uses social media touches as a data point for the Engagement Score!
From the main navigation menu in Bloomerang, you can monitor what your constituents are saying about your mission. If you don’t have a constituent’s Twitter handle, we make it easy to match it to your constituent or create a new one.
Once associated, we’ll automatically pull in all the Tweets from that constituent that relate to your organization right on their timeline. Each Tweet impacts their Engagement Score to give you even more clarity into how they interact with you.
Setting up the integration is simple. Just authorize Bloomerang to pull from your Twitter feed and set up any hashtags that your organization is marketing (for specific campaigns or (through mentions or use of your customized hashtags)
How this helps
Not every fundraiser monitors the organization’s Twitter account. If you’re going out to meet a major donor and pull up their record in Bloomerang, you can quickly see all the interaction they’ve had with you, including their latest tweet about how excited they are about your new campaign. Not only does that mean they’re a more engaged donor, but it makes your meeting much more focused and successful.
So come check out Bloomerang’s Twitter integration in our Social Media Hub and let us know what you think!
