Andrea Kihlstedt
Andrea Kihlstedt is an author, trainer and coach in capital campaign fundraising. Andrea has been in the fundraising profession for more than 30 years. She is co-founder of Asking Matters, Capital Campaign Masters and Capital Campaign Pro. A gifted author, Andrea has written four books on fundraising, including Capital Campaigns: Strategies that Work, considered by many to be the “bible of capital campaign books. That book, a 400 page textbook on capital campaign fundraising, is now in its 4th edition. Her most recent book, Train Your Board (and Everyone Else) to Raise Money, coauthored with Andy Robinson, is a compilation of 51 training exercises. Andrea is known as an innovator in the field. She pioneered the concept of Asking Styles and has written extensively on that subject. She has developed a model for donor conversations that has now been adopted by many in the field. Along with Amy Eisenstein, Andrea developed Capital Campaign Pro to provide an effective, reasonably-priced way for organizations to get the support they need to conduct successful capital campaigns.
