Whether your donor has been giving to you for one month or 10 years, reminding them can make them feel like a complete rock star for what they already accomplished in in such a short time, i.e. “it’s only been 3 months and already your gift has…” or the big milestone their longtime loyalty made happen. Remember, your donor may not remember how long they’ve been giving to you. Reminding them reinforces what a valuable part of the family they are!

2. Follow a solid, actionable plan to acknowledge, thank and welcome new donors properly.
